Kuvasin kolmen vuoden ajan suomalaisia artisteja välittömästi esiintymisen jälkeen. Kuvat ovat muotokuvia intiimistä ja haavoittuvasta hetkestä, joka katoaa silmänräpäyksessä, mutta paljastaa myös ehkä jotain.
Joonas Brandt on helsinkiläinen valokuvaaja. Brandt on palkittu useaan kertaan Vuoden lehtikuvat -kilpailussa, valittu Vuoden nuoreksi lehtikuvaajaksi sekä Vuoden Aikakauslehtikuvaajaksi. Tämän lisäksi hän on pitänyt useita näyttelyitä ympäri Suomea. Brandt kuuluu myös kansainvälisen Raw View -valokuvalehden toimitukseen.
After the Gig.
Over the course of three years, I photographed Finnish artists after they performed. The images are portraits of intimate and vulnerable moments that vanish in the blink of an eye, but perhaps the also reveal something.
Joonas Brandt is a Helsinki based photographer. Brandt had been awarded several times in the Press Photographer of the Year competition, he was chosen as the Young Press Photographer of the Year as well as the Review Photographer of the Year. In addition, he has held numerous exhibitions around Finland. Brandt is also part of the editorial staff for the international photography magazine Raw View.
