100 SUOMALAISTA VALOKUVAAJAA – 100 PÄIVÄÄ
100 suomalaista valokuvaajaa -hanke esitteli sadan päivän kuluessa sata suomalaista nykyvalokuvaajaa valokuvataiteen, mainoskuvan, muotikuvan, muotokuvan, kuvajournalismin, dokumentarisen valokuvan ja luontokuvan kentiltä.
Hankkeeseen osallistuvat 100 valokuvaajaa ovat kuratoineet Hanna-Kaisa ja Marko Hämäläinen pyrkimyksenään saada kattava kuva suomalaisesta valokuvasta maan täyttäessä sata vuotta.
100 suomalaista valokuvaajaa -sivusto toimii vuodesta 2018 eteenpäin suomalaisen valokuvan näyteikkunana. Kuvaajiin ja heidän kuviinsa pääset tutustumaan Photographers-linkin alta.

The 100 Finnish Photographers project proudly presents one hundred contemporary Finnish photographers from the fields of art, commercial, fashion, portraiture, journalism, documentary and nature photography.
From August 2017 until Finland’s 100th Independence Day on December 6th, 2017, one photographer was introduced on this website and simultaneously screened in downtown Jyväskylä, every day, for a period of one hundred days.
The photographers featured in this project were chosen and curated by Hanna-Kaisa and Marko Hämäläinen. The main focus, in the selection process, was to compile a comprehensive image of Finnish photography with one hundred photographers, just as Finland celebrates one hundred years of independence. To achieve this, the curators strove to include a sample of all genres of photography visible in Finland today from all regions of Finland.
The 100 Finnish Photographers website is now a showcase for Finnish photography. The photographs and their images can be found under the ”100 Finnish Photographers” link.
This project was also the inspiration for Ina Otzko’s 100 Norwegian Photographers project which was initiated in January 2018.
